Numismatists Beware! Serious coin collectors may find some of the images on this site: Disturbing, Distasteful or just Darned Silly.

The use of coins for purposes other than circulation or collecting raises a question that each individual must answer. Is a re-purposed coin 'LOST' or 'SAVED'. Only a few of the actual coins would have survived if they had not been repurposed, but a serious coin collector could argue that the coins have NOT survived.
