Stiff jugs are common and don’t vary a lot. As relatively few examples are dated it is difficult to distinguish 1860s from 1900s. A 1912 dated jug (the year before they were acquired by Doulton) retains all of the standard sprigs. Click for image. Silver mounted lemonade sets of jug and 2 or 4 beakers were popular, and are all, apparently, from the 1870s/80s, and indistinguishable from those illustrated below.

One quarter pint jugs were offered in 1873 but only one, presumed, example is known (see Early Stiff).
