Unidentified Maker 6

Heavy red earthenware with an orange glaze. Many different sprigs that include the archetypal Turner derived Toby Fillpot. A number have late 19th century dates The fabric suggests a south of England origin - somewhere between Sussex and Somerset (one was made for use in Salisbury). Rum is the only spirit mentioned which would reinforce the southern suggestion (Portsmouth and the Royal Navy).
