This is a small group with routine but distinctive sprigs. |

I have seen 2, 4 (two shapes) and 6 pint jugs, all with seemingly identical handle terminal, windmill and jug waving toper but two slight variants of Toby. |

I also have a tobacco jar with most of the same group but Toby replaced by a thinking (sleeping?) toper. Although very similar in style they vary in quality of moulding and production may span several decades. 1840s to 1860s? I suspect a London origin but need to see more variants. |
