The Anglo-Irish Coinage of Elizabeth I, by Chris Comber. Chris
is one of the leading experts on Elizabethan coinage, and this was first given as a presentation to the British
Numismatic Society in March 1999. It should be of interest to even the most advanced of researchers and collectors. |

The Inscriptions on Nuremburg Jetons, by Jim Furner. Jim has
been a member of the club for many years, and Jetons are a particular interest of his. |

Both Sides of the Coin - the Introduction of the Euro and the Future of Cash, by Anthony
Gilbert. Tony is our club secretary, and this article is based on a club discussion evening
held on 5th July 1999. Events have moved on apace since then as the euro has steadily weakened against the US dollar
and pound sterling, but the basic principles and points still hold good in the long term. |

David Sealy. Although
not a member of the Bexley Coin Club, David is a well-known and distinguished numismatist who is a good friend
to us. His interesting reply to Tony's article is a considered and very personal view. |
